Apartment 3, 24 The Promenade, Cheltenham GL50 1LR

  1. Apartment 3 at 24 The Promenade (“Apartment”) is booked on a daily basis. The minimum letting period is two nights. Details are given on the website
  2. Initial bookings may be made by email to john@24thepromenade.co.uk or by telephone on 01451-820698.
  3. A deposit of £200.00 is required for a booking to be made.
  4. To confirm you wish to proceed with your booking the balance due must be paid at least six weeks prior to the start of your letting. I would ask you to read carefully these Terms and Conditions because the payment of the balance will signify your understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions and will form the basis of the contract between you and me (John Stephen, 24 The Promenade, Cheltenham GL50 1LR).
  5. For cancellations giving at least 43 days’ notice (6 weeks and a day) a full refund will be given. For cancellations giving notice of 6 weeks or less, no refund will be given unless I successfully reā€sell that booking, in which case a full refund less £25.00 administration fee will be given.
  6. The arrival time is between 4pm and 5pm. Departure time is 10.30am. Early arrival or late departure may be possible by prior arrangement depending upon other bookings and availability of staff.
  7. Requests for late arrivals (after 5pm) must be made at least 2 days prior to arrival. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate such requests, it may not always be possible, depending on the time and staff availability. I reserve the right to charge £25 per hour or part thereof for arrivals after 7pm. No arrivals after midnight.
  8. Credit or debit card details must be supplied on or before arrival and your card will be debited within 7 days of your departure to meet any payments due under these terms and conditions.
  9. A full inventory is available on the website. It is your responsibility on arrival to check that all items detailed in the inventory are present and are in good working order. If an omission or fault is not reported to me within 24 h ours of your arrival it will be assumed and accepted by me that all is in order and any damage, loss or breakages will be paid for by you at the end of your letting.
  10. Any defective or missing item reported to me within 24 hours of arrival will be addressed immediately at my expense.
  11. You will allow me and my agents access to the Apartment at any time to deal with any maintenance or security issues that arise during your letting.
  12. The Apartment is not to be used for any illegal or immoral purpose, including without limitation accessing or downloading pornographic or illegal material from the internet.
  13. No musical instrument or sound production equipment must be played in the Apartment between 11.00pm and 7.30am so as to be audible outside the Apartment or at such a level as to cause nuisance or disturbance to any neighbours.
  14. During your letting you undertake not to do anything, or permit anything to be done, that would result in any policy of insurance held by me being rendered void or voidable or subject to an increased rate or premium.
  15. Whilst every care is taken to ensure the security of property brought to the Apartment by me supplying door locks and a burglar alarm, I do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to any property belonging to you which is kept in the apartment.
  16. Films and events ordered through Sky Box Office are chargeable at cost and will be charged to your credit or debit card.
  17. No poster or placard may be affixed to the interior or exterior of the Apartment and no alterations or additions will be permitted to the interior or exterior of the Apartment or to the decoration, fixture or fittings in the Apartment or to the furniture.
  18. No act will be permitted that causes nuisance, annoyance or damage to any neighbouring or ad joining property of the Apartment.
  19. The Apartment cannot be sublet.
  20. The Apartment must be occupied by a maximum of two people unless otherwise agreed, the names being those on the booking form.
  21. Apart from normal wear and tear, the Apartment must be left in the condition in which it was found on arrival.
  22. In the case of a spillage onto carpets, bedding or soft furnishings, after absorbing the excess you must contact Servicemaster on (01242)234383 as soon as practicable and request a cleaner. Apart from absorbing the excess you must not attempt to rub or clean the spillage yourself as this can cause permanent damage, the cost for which will be debited from your debit or credit card. There will be no charge to you if you leave the cleaning to Servicemaster.
  23. It is illegal to smoke on the premises or in the common hallways.
  24. Should any keys be lost the cost of changing the locks will be met by you and the cost will be charged to your credit/debit card.
  25. No pets are allowed in the Apartment.
